Jim McLennan Memorial Tennis Tournament
Mark your calendars! From May 2–4, we're celebrating Jim McLennan's passion for tennis with a weekend of fun, competitive play. Jim was a Fremont Hills Country Club tennis pro legend, working at the club for decades helping generations of players hone their game. This Men's & Women's Doubles Round Robin Tournament is open to adult teams.
Tournament Details
Friday, May 2 – Pro Shop Dedication in Jim's honor, followed by a cocktail reception.
Saturday, May 3 – Men's Doubles (6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 8.5 divisions)
Sunday, May 4 – Women's Doubles (3.0, 3.5, 4.0 divisions)
Each men's division features 8 teams and the women's 12 teams competing in a round-robin format, with top teams advancing to the semi-finals and a championship match. We look forward to a fantastic weekend of tennis, camaraderie, and giving back—just as Jim would have wanted. First Flight Bonus: Everyone in the first fully registered flight will receive a special gift. Waitlist Priority: Once a flight is full, a waitlist will be created, with priority given to those who signed up the earliest. Select the division you would like to register for and be part of this special event! Your registration fee includes cocktail party++, box lunch, and tournament entry fees. Cost $89 per person, cocktail party only $35++.

EPATT: A Cause Close to Jim's Heart
In that spirit, we are proud to announce that this event will support East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT), a cause close to Jim's heart. EPATT combines one-on-one academic tutoring, group tennis, and parent education to create life-changing opportunities for kids in under-resourced communities. Jim instantly connected with their mission and launched the EPATT Ladder in 2004, providing local players with competitive yet social match play while raising support for EPATT's programs. In Jim's honor, we're aiming to raise $15,000 to support EPATT's programs. If you'd like to make a donation, you can do so here - EPATT Jim McLennan Memorial Fund. Many of you may also remember Jim's ongoing efforts to collect and donate tennis equipment to EPATT, ensuring that more kids had access to the sport he loved. In that tradition, there will be a clothing, shoe and equipment drive during the tournament.
